Taken from shortly after the end of her Batgirl run, Cass is canon up through the end of Batgirl 73, at which point I tell OYL to kiss off and play her as actually in character. Having given Batgirl a rest for a while, Cass is still figuring herself out after everything that went down on her disastrous search for Shiva, and is operating more or less as an anonymous agent of Oracle while she asks herself some difficult questions. She'll eventually choose to take up the mantle of the Bat once more as Black Bat, passing the Batgirl mantle on to her long-time, not-dead friend Stephanie Brown, but that's still a ways off for her.
